A guitar player/producer/engineer from Sao Paulo, Brazil meets a trumpet player/multi-instrumentalist from New York City via a mutual interest in photography. The music that they make is funky, jazzy, electronicy, similar to each other's music, but different enough to warrant a collaboration to see what kind of fresh new sounds will result. Much to their mutual delight, the songs they create are indeed much greater than the sum of their parts and influences. Urban Jungle's music manages to conjure up the gritty feel of a city while also retaining sounds of nature and traditional instruments.

Urban Jungle's debut EP is available now, and the collaboration shows no sign of slowing down. Expect a full album with additional collaborators in the very near future.
